Paul Fiorilla is Director of Research at Yardi Matrix, where he oversees research publications that include national and metro outlooks and white papers about industry trends. Paul recently passed his 25th anniversary in the industry. Before joining Yardi in January 2015, he worked for six years as an investment vice president in the research group of Prudential Real Estate Investors (now PGIM). Prior to joining PREI, he covered CMBS and CRE capital markets for Commercial Mortgage Alert for 12 years. Additionally, he serves as volunteer Editor in Chief of the magazine published by the CRE Finance Council, and is a member of the publications committee of the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA). He regularly produces articles for industry trade magazines published by trade groups including AFIRE, NAREIM, Institutional Investor, CREFC and PREA.
