Self Storage Growth Decelerates in First Half
REIT results for Q2 2024 are in, and self storage growth has continued to decelerate, driven by reduced occupancy and persistently lower advertised rates. Moving into the second half, advertised rates started their seasonal decline one month earlier than usual, although year-over-year rates show improvement.
